This new exhibition of work by twelve contemporary artists from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, will explore the continuing resonances of geo-political upheavals in the region since the Partition of India in 1947 and the independence of Bangladesh in 1971. Addressing themes such as migration and diaspora, the exhibition will feature new work from artists including Shilpa Gupta, Zarina Hashmi, Sohrab Hura, Seher Shah and Munef Wasif. Painting, photography, sculpture and installation will all be represented and the exhibition will also include a live performance by Nikhil Chopra (b. 1974), who will be creating a new work in the exhibition.
