Seher Shah presents her second solo exhibition at Nature Morte Gallery in New Delhi. Working with drawings, printmaking and sculpture the works explore a range of processes that draw on her background in art and architecture. Of Absence and Weight develops a focused aesthetic that is expressed through ink and graphite drawings, etchings and woodcuts, photographs and digital prints, as well as cast iron sculpture. The impermanent nature of objects and materials, and aggressive architectural aesthetics are two interrelated interests that are explored at varying scales.
