The Great Game exhibition comes from the idea of the historically charged geographical territory of Asia, known for supremacy since the XIX century. The art produced is an entanglement of politics, economics, religion and social situations and through the proposed exhibition the Venice Biennale National Pavilion of Iran, showcases forty artists working in the region who are particularly aware of the social political questions. The pavilion is curated by Marco Meneguzzo and Mazdak Faiznia, demonstrating the significance of these questions and how it is perceived and re-established by an international public through contemporary art.
