Hera Büyüktaşçıyan is included in the inaugural exhibition at B7L9, an experimental art space developed by Kamel Lazaar Foundation (KLF) in Tunis. Climbing through the Tide aims at composing the display of research-based artistic methodologies in a specified setting. The exhibition is designed to initiate dialogues and encounters among the works; therefore, it suggests various paths of reception through its scenography. Each work in the exhibition will connect to another through spontaneously formed content-based; form-based; methodology-based; and approach-based links. The experience of the exhibition dictates its characterisation by positioning ‘Tunis’ as the center and the filter for its progression.
B7L9 is an experimental art space developed by Kamel Lazaar Foundation (KLF) in Tunis. A laboratory for KLF to connect, interact and expand upon its activities to date, and encourage a regional dialogue with contemporary global developments in visual culture. B7L9 responds to the KLF’s commitment to social impact in underprivileged areas through art and culture, by inviting participants to engage with local communities through workshops, seminars, events, and an extensive outreach programme.
