Beyond: Emerging Artists 2020 had been curated by Maya El Khalil who has selected artists Hind Mezaina, Afra Al Dhaheri and Afra Al Suwaidi and their pieces can be viewed via the Abu Dhabi Art website or at Manarat Al Saadiyat, where they'll be exhibited from Thursday November 19 until the end of the year.
Using her own reclaimed hair, Afra Al Dhaheri’s works explore self-identity and draw on broader social associations related to female hair.
